Dear i-Engage teachers, The training we organised on September 26 aimed to initiate you in the concept of global project-based learning (GPBL), and refine your methodological approach in the new iEARN Learning Circles projects you joined. For this reason, in the next following weeks we are inviting you to discuss about the project writing process, issues we meet while designing and implementing it at the community level, and points to consider while integrating our project in the school curriculum. Task 1. Read pages 10 through 18 from the Teacher’s Guide to Online Collaboration & Global Project book, written by Chris Steven Youth Network and identify the eight thematic units reflecting Global Issues we could integrate in our curriculum. Then, scan the iEARN project publications listed below, choose 5 projects you liked most and analyze each project accordingly: (1) project name, (2) project goal and (3) global thematic unit(s) the project relates to. |
